What Did I Think Of Edge Joining AEW?

What Do I Think of EDGE Showing Up?

I have been fan of edge for years. His last run wasn't that great in wwe. I don't watch or get into aew but doesn't mean I want AEW to fail. I just wish it had more story. So, I don't watch it. But I saw a clip online and saw how much it meant to the audience. The audience was hooked, and he got a pop. When I saw it, I thought this was pretty cool and good get for AEW. Also, great how he kept the great song from alter bridge. I know he can't be edge, but he can make an impact as Adam Copeland. He came out to save Sting and Darby Allen from Christian Cage, who I know who he is, and watched in Impact and wwe. He also saved Sting and Darby Allen from Luchasauras and a new guy named nick, who I don't know much about. But Edge grabbed the chair and looked like he might help Christian Cage and the other guys in the ring. But instead, he hit Nick, and Luchasauras, then Christian left the ring and looked on in shock. He shook Darby hand and hugged sting. It was a feel-good moment and great for Aew. I might take a look at what Edge aka Adam Copeland does this week on aew. So, this was a great get and added a little momentum in aew court. I would say definitely a positive and will help Aew after everything that happened with Punk and the Elite. I heard what Edge said about leaving wwe, and the freedom he can have. Well, I think we might have to wait and see on that. The Lockeroom has some guys that may challenge that, and we will see how edge acts. Also, I hope AEW doesn't get him to do any risky spots like I have seen in clips of sting.

I know some people look at Edge as a trader. I don't, he did what he thought was best for him and his career. Everyone does this, as in your job won't give you a raise, well you go down the street and see what the next job will give you. Then if you get better money and even better benefits you would jump on it in a heartbeat. Then quit or give notice depending on how you want to leave that job.

Does this help AEW? Too many debuts?

I think adding Edge to aew is great, but I think AEW is getting too big as a roster and adding too many stars. AEW needs to stop with the surprises every single week. I think this might get me to watch a clip or two of aew as in what edge does but doesn't get me to stay hooked. The problem with AEW for me is too much wrestling, as in long matches or each match is 30 mintes and not enough story. As in yes, they have story, but story as in stuff that is serious and hooks me like the bloodline and evolution did the early 2000s. I think Aew needs more story and angles, as in a big story to hook you like the nwo or bloodline that shocks you or picks up your interest. I think adding Edge is great, but I think aew needs to slow down on debuts in aew because it could be that one, that the audience they have tunes on it and tunes out kind of like when Hogan and Bischoff came in TNA in 2010. As in the audience didn't want it, and a part left. Some even look at that as the day TNA died which I disagree with. I think that was the day Tna left spike.

I think another problem aew has is lack of creative. They don't need more wrestlers. Aew needs some tv writers. Wrestling as gotten kind of stale and if aew makes the product better with creative, and uses good stories, then aew will put out a better product. That might make WWE step it up as in putting on better tv. WWE is passable at the moment, and I like a couple things but nowhere near as good as it was 1998 to 2007. I just think less matches is good idea as in less long matches and more hook able stories. Only the main event should be a 30-minute match. I do think adding Edge is great, but I think AEW has a lot to improve on.
