Thoughts on Mercari Marketplace

I tell all about my experiences with Mercari. I used Mercari between 2017 up until I booted off the site. I got booted off in 2021, November 2021. I don't recommend Mercari at all. It was definitely upsetting to deal with, but you read that I figured out what Mercari really is greedy and selfish. My rules or the highway type of marketplace.

My experiences with Mercari Marketplace

My thoughts on Mercari are the platform has both good and bad buyers as well as the same with sellers. The only bad thing is you have to wait 3 days to get paid unless the buyer doesn't rate you. I hated that and I wish that they would move to a payout as you ship the item. If you ship with this company, you might get paid by insurance with mercari. I had up and down with mercari. I thought the app wasn't much different than Ebay. As in you try to promote your business, you will get booted off like I did in November 2021. I tried to get back on by contacting support multiple times, but they will not work with me. Mercari don't mind it when you make them money but when you take it off the app or take people to your website and grow your business, then you will get banned. Then you have to reach out to support and wait days to get help. Then the moderator will do nothing. I don't miss this app, but do miss some of the buyers and sales I would get. I find mercari to be greedy and a site I would not recommend. Also, I say stay from this greedy company. I give this company one star. Mercari is a joke. 

Getting kicked off the app

I have tried multiple times to get back on and even apologized to them, but they still won't let me back on. Mercari keeps giving me a crappy excuse of we had to remove you because it hurts our marketplace. We all know that it is complete crap. But its mercari. You grow your business, and brand. Then you do the work. You get the inventory. They take fees and will even remove you if you try to make money that they can't get. Like I said, stay away from these people. I had like 250 followers but mercari selfish actions took my account away. I would say go to eBay, or Facebook before I would use this company. I know I will never work with mercari again. 

This was upsetting

I tried to get back on the app by sending multiple emails, the moderator would do nothing, and even tried creating other accounts, but nothing worked. The new accounts didn't last long and got removed. This was upsetting to deal with because I put a lot of work in during those 4 years and had like 250 followers. I had a lot of good ratings and could have made more money. I also had some loyal good customers which I will miss. But I saw the truth about Mercari and will not go back to them.

You have read my experiences with Mercari and the heartbreak of losing the account. But in the end, I see why the reviews aren't good and people are usually unhappy. So, I guess I count my loses, speak my truth from experiences and move on from these greedy pricks.
